Marvel Movie Marathon!
If you are connected with me on Instagram @thebookwarriors, you would know that in the last week, I went on a Marvel movie marathon. I watched 7 Marvel movies in 7 days. Below, I listed the movies in the order I watched it. I also wrote about why I like it. To read my full review, click on the movie.
Sunday, July 15: Ant-Man and the Wasp
I loved this movie because it was super funny and the characters were all super witty. I think that Luis’s endless stories are hilarious. Also, I like how this movie is super action-packed with something always happening. There are multiple stories in this movie, and I like how they all end up clashing at one point.
Monday, July 16: Captain America: Civil War
This movie was great because it could have easily been an Avengers movie… It practically included everyone! As a huge fan of the Avengers, I’m kind of used to watching them work together, not against each other. The angle that this movie took was pretty interesting.
Tuesday, July 17: Black Panther
WAKANDA FOREVER!! That’s always the first thing I think whenever someone mentions this movie. I liked it because it is different than typical Marvel movies. It showed the importance and different aspects of being a king and leading Wakanda.
Wednesday, July 18: Doctor Strange
This movie definitely has effects beyond compare. The best that I have ever seen. It was definitely worth watching on big screen- maybe even 3D. I loved this movie because of the stunning effects (obviously), and also because it teaches many lessons. I go further in detail in the full review.
Thursday, July 19: Spider-Man: Homecoming
Spider-Man is one of my favorite superheroes because he is just a kid. He proves that you can do anything you set your mind too… as long as you get a spider bite first. 😉 But even though he was bitten by a spider, he still chooses to use his powers for good, and design his own suit.
Friday, July 20: The Avengers
This movie will always be special to me because I the reason that I am into Marvel is because of this movie. The first Marvel movie I watched was Captain America: Winter Soldier, and that got me hooked onto Captain America. But this movie got me hooked onto all of the Avengers and Marvel in general, not just Captain America.
Saturday, July 21: Avengers: Age of Ultron
Avengers: Age of Ultron is one of my all-time favorite movies, and one of my favorite Marvel movies. I just love the story line, the twists and turns of the plot, and the action. The day I watched this movie in the theaters was super exciting for me. I had anxiously been waiting for it to come out, and it finally did!! To date, every time I watch this movie (which is a lot 😉 ), I always feel, ‘Wow’.
I love each of these movies for different reasons. As a huge Marvelaholic, (my word for Marvel fan), it is pretty hard to decide which Marvel movie is my favorite. Before doing this Marvel movie marathon, it was probably Avengers: Age of Ultron. But, after a week of rethinking and consideration, I’m going to have to go with Ant-Man and the Wasp because it was super funny and witty through out. My favorite character was either Luis because of his endlessly long stories, or the police officer, Jimmy Woo. Avengers: Age of Ultron is still one of my favorite Marvel movies, and I bet it won’t change for a long time.
This was the first movie marathon that I did, while posting about it. I had a lot of fun picking the movies and posting. Did you enjoy the updates? I think I would like to do another movie marathon soon… maybe we can all do it together! What do you think? Let me know in the comments below!
